Sweden-based Skanska has invested DKK446m ($72.6m) in a new residential project in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This project covers 16,000m2 and consists of 154 apartments and 130 underground parking lots.

Called as C.F. Møllers Have, the project is claimed to be in an attractive location of Ørestad, adjacent to the metro, shopping and outdoor facilities.

 Featuring shared facilities, home offices, café, indoor cycle parking, the apartments will be leased during construction. The public parking is being leased under a three-decade agreement to By&Havn.

Claimed to be a sustainable profile, the project will feature innovative solutions and will be DGNB gold certificated.

KPC København has been appointed as the contractor and the construction is slated to begin next month.

Over the last five years, Skanska has developed and sold more than 1,000 apartments in Copenhagen.

A leading construction and project development company in the Nordics, Skanska has operations in building construction and civil engineering segments in Sweden, Norway and Finland. It is into developing residential and commercial property projects in select home markets.

Its commercial development stream is also active in Denmark.

In 2020, Skanska recorded sales of about SEK66bn ($7.8bn) and about 14,800 employees in its Nordic operations.
