Aker Solutions will record this award as an order intake of between $206m and $309m (NOK2.4bn-NOK3.65bn) in Q3 2022.

Aker Solutions’ yard in Norway will undertake fabrication work of the wellhead platform.

For the project, Aker Solutions will continue to cooperate with suppliers Rambøll and Leirvik, who were also involved in developing the FEED.

Aker Solutions CEO Kjetel Digre said: “We aim to be a leading supplier of energy solutions, and the Jackdaw development contributes to the ambition of the British government to boost domestic energy output to enhance energy security. The project forms part of our broader intent to both play a key role in the transformation of Europe’s energy sector and help accelerate the security of supplies.”
