
US-based construction firm Ryan Companies has collaborated with Grand Living, and Castletop Capitalo to develop, own and operate a senior living facility in Texas.
The 260,000ft2 project, named Grand Living at The Grove, will be built at the corner of Bull Creek Road and Jackson Avenue.
It is marked as the fourth Grand Living community in Texas and will include 186 independent and assisted living units.
A complete wing of the development will be dedicated to 34 memory care units.
Additionally, seniors will have access to age-in-community, where a resident can stay in their own apartment and receive services over time, even when their needs change.
The development will also feature a Grand Lounge and Legends Club; Grand Library; formal, casual and bistro dining; a performance theatre, Grand Spay, therapy rooms; game rooms; a gift shop; chapel and outdoor amenity spaces.

By GlobalDataIt will also include a fitness centre featuring a full-service salon, pool and courtyard; as well as a 180 below-grade parking space.
Ryan Companies South Central regional president Hunter Barrier said: “The Grove is the ideal location for Austin’s senior population with its dining and entertainment options.
“Ryan is predicated on the desire to create places for people to thrive and this project helps us achieve that objective alongside our partners.”
The company will be the co-developer and builder while Ryan Architecture + Engineering will design the community.
The master plan for the project will be developed by Castletop Capital and Grand Living will be responsible to operate the building upon its completion.
Construction work on the development is scheduled to commence in summer 2022.
