US-based construction firm Ryan Companies has broken ground on a new medical office building at Highland Bridge development in Minnesota.

Highland Bridge is a 122-acre mixed-use master development, which is located along the Mississippi River in the Highland Park neighbourhood of Saint Paul.

The development will have nearly 3,800 housing units, 265,000ft2 of office space, 150,000ft2 of retail space and four public parks.

The two-storey, Class A, multi-tenant medical office building was 73% pre-leased with M Health Fairview as the anchor tenant in September last year.

Now, Dermatology Consultants and RAYUS Radiology will join M Health Fairview as new tenants of the 60,000ft2 development.

Dermatology Consultants will occupy 12,000ft2 space on the first floor, while RAYUS Radiology will occupy nearly 6,400ft2 space on the second floor of the building.

The clinic will be moved from its current St. Paul site located at 280 Snelling Avenue and will offer a complete range of services that include skin cancer diagnosis and surgery, general and cosmetic dermatology, as well as esthetician services.

Meanwhile, RAYUS Radiology’s outpatient diagnostic imaging centre will feature 3D mammography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray.

The new medical office building is anticipated to be completed next year.

Further, Ryan stated that the remaining around 12,000ft2 of leasable space of the Highland Bridge Medical Office building is available to tenants that provide clinical and specialty health care services or for general healthcare office purpose.

In October last year, Ryan Companies, Grand Living Management and Bow River Capital formed a new joint venture and commenced construction of an apartment building called Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes in Texas.
