Rangeford Villages has appointed Willmott Dixon to deliver a £43m scheme that will see creation of 116 apartments and amenities at Homewood Grove, near Chertsey, Surrey, UK.

Willmott Dixon will transform a 4.7-acre brownfield site into a retirement community for people aged above 60s.

This project will feature 116 one, two and three bed apartments, ranging from 700ft2 to 1,200ft2.

Besides being energy efficient, the project will include modern features such as underfloor heating, double-glazed picture windows and an all-electric energy system to help reduce bills as well as environmental impact.

Electric car charging points, an electric pool car as well as communal transport will be the other facilities available for the residents.

The project will include a wellbeing centre, gym, dance studio, bistro and bar/coffee/shop, a members lounge, village hall and a hair and beauty salon.

Each home will be equipped with electronic tablets to get updates on activities and social clubs at the village and to seek emergency help.

Rangeford Villages has secured the financial support from Octopus Real Estate, a part of the Octopus Group and an investor in healthcare facilities throughout the UK and Ireland, for this project.

The project is expected to complete in spring 2024. Post completion, Homewood Grove will be operated by Rangeford.
