Located at 216 Pittsfield Rd., Mount Sterling, Brown County, Illinois, the new facility will provide the opportunity for local enhanced care.

QMG has been providing health care for citizens of Brown County since 1996 and the group’s services to patients have developed well over the past 20 years. The QMG Mt. Sterling Clinic team provides complete primary care for all ages.

QMG CEO Carol Brockmiller said: “Mt. Sterling is a wonderful community that Quincy Medical Group has been proud to serve for many years. Today, we celebrate the future with a new clinic that will provide a welcoming, comfortable place for healthcare for years to come.

“Access to healthcare in rural communities, like Brown County, is critical to the overall health of those who reside here. The new facility will allow us to enhance the care experience for every patient who walks through our doors.”

Ancillary and speciality services are also provided by QMG, which include behavioural health, laboratory, physical therapy, nutrition services, cardiology and podiatry.

QMG Mt. Sterling Clinic family practice physician Dr. Jennifer Schroeder said: “Mt. Sterling has been a perfect home for medical care in Brown County and the surrounding communities for 25 years. It has been my blessing to have served here for many of those. We look forward to continuing to serve in this new building, which we hope will be a blessing to our communities in the years to come.”

During the time of construction, QMG Mt. Sterling Clinic has temporarily relocated to 109 Buckhorn Rd in Mt. Sterling, which was earlier occupied by the DOT John Wood Community College (JWCC) Learning Center.
