Populo Living, a UK-based housing company, has selected Higgins for the construction of 77 new homes to be located at Plaistow, London.
When completed, 77 homes will be let under London Affordable Rent. The £18m housing project includes the re-development of previously neglected and vacant land into two contemporary buildings with five and six storeys.

The development will also include a landscaped garden, cycle storage and open views across the Greenway.
The mansion block design is expected to be elegant and is claimed to bring a new standard of design to the area, which could stimulate future projects across the Borough.
It is also well connected from Royal Docks Road in Beckton through to Stratford and the Olympic Park, along a 4.3-mile long road with raised footpath and off-road cycle route

In April this year, Higgins completed a £60m project with 201 mixed-tenure homes at Clapham Park, Clapham for Metropolitan Thames Valley.
The project is part of wider improvements to the Clapham Park Estate, eventually offering more than 2,500 new homes. Out of the total homes, 50% will be affordable homes along with new community hub with a community centre, new shops and a minimum of 4.18 hectares of open public space.
