Swedish construction company Peab has secured a contract to build 160 rental apartments in Enköping, Sweden.
The turnkey contract, worth $21.5m (SEK202m), was awarded by Genova Property Group.
Located in Korsängen, the new building will feature apartments with one to five rooms as well as a kitchen with an area ranging between 27 m2 and 94 m2.
All the apartments will have access to the parking as well as elevators and will be designed as per Peab’s NärBo (Live Close) concept.
Apart from the apartments, the structure will feature four premises on the ground floor.
Genova Project Development manager Henrik Raspe said: “Our intention is to try and use land we already own in order to be able to contribute with more sustainable and climate smart homes.
