Renewable energy producer Opdenergy has secured Environmental Impact Permits for all its projects that are either under construction or in pre-construction phase, in Spain.
These projects are located in the Spanish provinces of Zamora, Ciudad Real, Zaragoza, Cuenca, Teruel and Badajoz.

The projects that have secured environmental permits have a total power generation capacity of 1,146MW, of which 902MW is under construction while 244MW is under the pre-construction phase.
Ceunca will see six projects being developed with a total of 331MW capacity, Zaragoza with eight projects of a total of 302MW, Zamora with five projects of a total 244MW capacity, Badajoz with five projects of a total 131MW capacity, Teruel with two projects of total 96MW; and Ciudad Real with one project with 42MW capacity.
All the main equipment needed for the construction of these projects has already been contracted.
