US-based development and construction company Skanska has entered a deal with Saint Francis Health System to renovate the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Under the $62m contract, Skanska will renovate the hospital’s 28 operating rooms and support spaces.
Seven new operating rooms, spanning on an approximate area of 1,400m², will be built as part of the project.
A new 2,500m² mechanical penthouse will be constructed on the roof of the current surgery department.
Skanska’s Texas operations will manage the project, construction for which is expected to start this month and be completed in March 2020.
Skanska USA recently invested €48m in the High Five office project in Cracow, Poland.
