Land and property company HIMOR has revealed its master plan to build a flagship mixed-use community in Carrington, Trafford, England.
During the phase one of Future Carrington plan, up to 900 homes, up to 1 million ft² of employment space, a local village centre with shops and new sports pitches will be developed.

Expected to be developed in a 1,600 acre area, the project will be built in a phase-wise manner and the HIMOR’s previous Shell site and surrounding estate will also be revamped as part of the project.
HIMOR director Paul Stanley said: "This is a landmark project for both HIMOR and Trafford Council. We’re determined to create a legacy community that helps meet regional need for sustainable housing growth and delivers unprecedented employment opportunities.
"Our draft masterplan is the first exciting step in delivering a vision for the Carrington estate. The site has long been seen as a unique opportunity to bring about large scale transformation within the Greater Manchester area.
"We have carried out several stages of consultation to date and the feedback we are receiving is proving invaluable in helping shape our vision."

By GlobalDataTo be constructed on an area of more than 170 acres, the first phase of Future Carrington plan will feature residential and retail zones in the Carrington village area.
Presently, HIMOR is drafting two planning applications for first phase, which will be submitted to Trafford Council in this year.
Prior to the launch of the master plan, a campaign was launched in November last year to receive feedback from local residents, businesses and community groups for the Future Carrington project.
