Chinese developer Greenland Group has submitted plans to Tower Hamlets Council for a 67-storey residential development in east London, UK.
Claimed to be the tallest residential tower in western Europe, the development will comprise 869 new homes.

Planned to be 240.5m-high, the building has been designed around a clover-shaped footprint to provide the best views for each flat.
Hertsmere House proposal will offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with some being designated as affordable housing.
Designed by architect HOK, the residential skyscraper will also have landscaping, along with new community spaces and a children’s play area.
Greenland senior planning manager Setareh Neshati said: "A graceful new tower will complement the Canary Wharf skyline, including enhancements to the public realm, an amenity pavilion, roof terraces, public open spaces, children’s play areas and shops for local people.

The basement of the building will have a depth of just 11.7m, as the site sits above operational Crossrail tunnels.
Nearly half of the building’s facade will be fitted with vision glass, and the rest having ‘shadow boxes’, which are highly insulated metal panels backed with a glass wall. This design will make the building appear to be fully glazed from the outside while reducing solar gain.
Demolition and subsequent works will create more than 900 construction jobs during a 55-month programme.
