Carillion has secured a £60m contract from developer Argent and joint venture partner the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund to build the One St Peter’s Square mixed-use development in Manchester, England.
Under the contract, Carillion will replace the existing Elizabeth House office block with a 14-storey, 273,000ft² building and Connell Brothers will carry out the demolition of the existing offices, which is slated to complete by April 2012.

The building has been designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating and will incorporate office floor spaces up to 22,500ft².
Construction work of One St Peter’s Square is scheduled to be complete by spring 2014.
