Toronto’s city-owned development agency Build Toronto has partnered with Tridel to develop a 75-storey, $295m residential building at 10 York Street, Toronto, Canada.

The facility was designed by Rudy Wallman of Wallman Architects.

The proposed tower will be called Ten York and built on the vacant site of a former parking and impound lot.

When completed, the new tower will have a height of 240m; its design is intended to enhance street animation and create more usable and safe pedestrian spaces, according to Build Toronto.

The developers are aiming to meet City of Toronto’s Green Building Standards and secure LEED certification for the building.
