Neuron Factory, a US-based AI startup focused on the construction industry, has secured $6m in a seed funding round to advance the use of AI in construction.

The company also signed a strategic partnership with Cordeel Group, a Belgian one-stop partner for the construction process.

The oversubscribed funding round saw investments from Activant Capital, Colle Capital, Karman Ventures, and Punch Capital.

Strategic investors such as Cordeel Group chair Filip Cordeel also took part in the funding round.

Neuron Factory’s AI coworker platform is powered by an enterprise task graph, a system that maps tasks, roles, and knowledge across an organisation.

This enables AI agents to operate intelligently within complex construction environments, facilitating real-time coordination and task delegation.

The company was founded in February 2025 by former executives from Microsoft, PrimaryBid, Waymo, and Escher Cloud.

Cordeel Group is the first construction company to pilot Neuron Factory’s AI coworker platform to achieve quicker project timelines, higher returns for customers, and a more sustainable construction landscape.

The platform, designed to integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, will also support Cordeel in optimising resource use and fostering data-driven, transparent construction processes.

Neuron Factory CEO and co-founder Zaid Kahn said: “Construction stands as one of the largest and most intricate global industries – yet it remains largely untouched by the transformative power of real AI.

“We’re proud to partner with Cordeel Group, a company that shares our belief in the transformative power of AI. Cordeel’s leadership and vision are helping shape the future of construction, and we’re excited to support their journey with our AI coworker platform.”
