The company stated that the new buildings will be constructed as per the Sweden Green Building Council, Silver level.

They will include solar cells on the roof, a concrete frame, and facade of maintenance-free brick.

Preparatory groundwork on the project is scheduled to commence immediately, with construction planned to begin next month.

NCC Building Sweden project manager Peder Dahlberg said: “Due to NCC’s collective expertise and extensive experience in high-quality and sustainable residential construction, there is constant focus on sustainability throughout the construction process to provide future tenants with pleasant and sustainable accommodation.”

The company stated that the occupancy in the first building will begin in 2024.

Recently, NCC was awarded a SEK540m contract to build a third house, named as Kysthus III, in Hellerup, Denmark.

The new project, located in Tuborg Strandeng, Hellerup, will include 38 apartments.

Designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects, the apartments will range in size from 160 to 340m2 and will be built in three clusters.
