UK-based Muse Developments has submitted a planning application to Leeds City Council for the final two plots at its flagship industrial and distribution hub, Logic Leeds, located by Junction 45 of the M1.

The two plots will cover a total area of approximately 100,000ft².

Muse Developments said that the submission of plans represents is the result of more than one-and-a-half decades of work in collaboration with Halifax Estates to transform 110 acres into nearly 1.25 million ft² of high-quality employment space.

After receiving the approval, the remaining two units are expected to be on-site towards the end of 2020, working safely and in line with existing government guidance, with a 12-month construction programme.

Logic Leeds forms part of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zones that is backed by the LEP, the Combined Authority, Leeds City Council, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and Muse Developments.

It’s a real testament to the hard work of everyone who has worked on the scheme over the years that we now come to the final two units to be developed.

Muse Developments said that the latest announcement follows in the footsteps of Phoenix Investment Management and Pegasus World acquiring units totalling 56,000ft², which are currently on-site, along with the completion of 723,000ft² of space over two units pre-let to both Premier Farnell and Amazon, respectively.

Both buildings being are funded by Aberdeen Standard Investments for more than £100m.
