“As a business, we know well the value schools have in communities and the difference the latest thinking in terms of design and delivery can have on teaching and attainment.

“In creating outstanding places for learning, we prioritise sustainability and driving value through standardisation, goals that are important to the DfE.

“We view this appointment as the chance to build even further on the positive results we’ve already achieved, working together to deliver a new generation of zero-carbon in operation school buildings.”

At present, the company is on site with several DfE projects that include the £16.1m Summerdown School in Eastbourne.

The project involves construction of a new building that will create 135 places for local children aged five to 16.
