Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), a fully owned subsidiary of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB), has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Sarawak Shell Berhad (SSB) for the offshore platform of the Rosmari-Marjoram gas project.
The gas project is located off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia.

The platform will feature a topside, a four-legged jacket, and piles.
It will be installed at a water depth of 140m in the SK318 area, off the coast of Bintulu, Sarawak.
This uncrewed platform will be powered by clean energy from solar panels.
Featuring a design life of 20 years, the platform, with a startup targeted in 2026, will supply up to 800 million standard cubic feet of gas daily to Petronas LNG Complex in Bintulu, Sarawak.

SSB is the operator of the SK318 Block.
Final investment decision on the gas project was taken by SSB in September this year.
MHB managing director and chief executive officer Pandai Othman said, “We are honoured to have been entrusted with such a significant project from SSB.
