Meriwether Companies and Big Sky Wave Developments have unveiled plans to build Coral Mountain, a resort community in California, US.

Located in a 400-acre land in La Quinta, in the eastern quadrant of the Coachella Valley, the Coral Mountain is claimed to be first of its kind.

Anchored by Kelly Slater Wave Company’s (KSWC) wave technology, the project will include a full-service resort, residential homes, a private club, multiple dining venues and adventure sports.

Previously, the land was approved to build 750 homes and an 18-hole golf course.

Meriwether Companies partner Noah Hahn said: “We are excited to bring to life an unprecedented vision for an experiential resort development, curated for today’s active and engaged consumer here in Southern California and beyond.

“Kelly Slater and the WSL are industry legends, and the perfect partners to feature as we create a revolutionary new way to live and travel.”
