Mekonomen Group has plans to invest in new automated and high-tech central warehouse to boost efficiency and competitiveness with increased availability for its customers.

Planned to be built in the Mjøs region in Norway, the new warehouse is expected to be completed in 2025.

This central warehouse will provide spare parts and accessories for the Norwegian leading concepts MECA and Mekonomen.

The present two regional warehouses in Norway for MECA and Mekonomen, respectively, are both small.

A joint warehouse with a wider assortment and streamlining through automation would help in increased availability for customers.

The warehouse will be able to stock 100,000 items compared twitharound 25-50,000 items in each regional warehouse at present.
