British construction firm McLaren Group has launched a new residential development business, known as McLaren Living, which will focus on delivering mixed-use, residential developments as well as placemaking schemes in the UK.
McLaren Living will focus to create partnerships and joint ventures with private and public-sector organisations to construct homes and mixed-use developments across the UK.

Matthew Biddle from Berkeley Group has been appointed as the managing director for the new business.
Biddle will work together with Kim Bromley-Derry CBE, the former chief executive of Newham Council, to support McLaren’s partnership offering and develop long-term joint ventures.
According to McLaren, the new business will provide an alternative in the traditional marketplace. It is expected to complement the construction and property businesses of McLaren, supporting to ensure McLaren’s customers benefit from its expertise.

Recently, McLaren Construction has been selected by Quintain, a property development firm, to deliver the fourth development at Wembley Park in the UK.
The £130m contract includes the construction of plots NW09 and NW10 that are made up of three distinct blocks, as part of Quintain’s 85-acre Wembley Park estate.
