US-based Link Senior Development has partnered with MedCore Partners to develop senior living communityin Buckeye, Arizona in the US.

The community, called Ativo of Sundance, will be built inside the 1,100-home Sundance Active Adult master planned community.

The Sundance master planned community comprises 18-hole public golf course, community centre, and more than 20 different clubs.

Planned to be built on 10-acre tract on the northwest corner or Yuma Road and Sundance Parkway, the senior living campus will be located immediately adjacent to the Sundance Adult Village HOA Community Center.

The 211,000ft2, three-story community project will comprise 103 independent living, 75 assisted living, and 24 memory care residences.

MedCore Partner co-founder Michael Graham said: "For too long, seniors in Buckeye have been forced to relocate to other areas around Phoenix for their seniors housing needs, but soon they will be able to enjoy first class senior living locally at the Ativo of Sundance without having to leave their friends and familiar amenities behind."

Ativo of Sundance will have amenities including an entry with two-story dining room, private dining, two salons, theatre room, billiards room, chef's kitchen with demonstration bar, cyber-café, and outdoor spaces.

It will also feature shuffleboard, a resort-style swimming pool, bocce and pickleball courts, multi-hole mini golf, art studio, fitness centre, pet park, and outdoor grill/fire pit areas.

Link Senior Development CEO Ron Ziebart said: "The latest census numbers highlighting Buckeye's unprecedented growth reaffirm this market as a choice senior living destination in the Phoenix metro area.”

Construction of the project is scheduled to commence in late 2021 with plans to open in the summer 2023.

Link and MedCore are also working together on two other developments in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tracy, California.
