Construction firm The JR Group has completed construction of a new affordable housing development in Cambuslang, Scotland and handed over to Link Group.
Located at Bridge Street in Cambuslang, the new development is designed to provide vital rental properties and comprises ten apartment blocks featuring 86 new homes.

The apartment blocks feature one- and two-bedroom flats, a selection of two- and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached houses.
They also include eight wheelchair exemplar properties, 125 parking spaces as well as a children’s play park.
The new affordable housing development builds on Link Group’s aim to deliver 3,381 affordable homes over the next five years.
The JR Group project director Andrew Dallas said: “We are excited for the residents of Bridge Street to move in and create new memories now the development has been completed.

The company stated that the work on the project took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, which resulted in the team overcoming unexpected challenges to complete the development.
