JGC Arabia, the Saudi subsidiary of Japanese engineering group JGC Holdings, has secured a contract from Aramco to perform engineering and construction work for Saudi oil major’s processing facilities within the Zuluf field.

Zuluf field is a major offshore oil field situated in the Arabian Gulf, around 240km north of Dhahran, reported TradeArabia.

JGC Holdings will jointly work with JGC Arabia on the Zuluf AH Increment Central Processing Facilities.

JGC Holdings runs the overseas engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business of the JGC Group.

JGC Holdings Corporation representative director, chairman and CEO Masayuki Sato said that Saudi Aramco is planning to raise production based on an additional 600 MBCD of AH crude to meet increasing global demand for energy.

Sato said: “We have received the orders for the construction projects for the core onshore GOSP and Utility Facilities including Water Injection Facilities.
