Swiss construction company Implenia has announced a series of new contracts in Germany, collectively valued at over €200m ($233.87m). 

The contracts include new-build and modernisation work for the Heaven office district in Munich, as well as additional projects involving office, housing, industrial, sports facility, and school construction in Brandenburg.

In Munich, Implenia has been commissioned by Rock Capital Group to transform a one-hectare (1ha) former commercial site on Nymphenburger Strasse into a modern office district.  

The project involves combining newly constructed buildings with the refurbishment of current ones.  

It will offer around 28,000m² of office space. This development is located in the Neuhausen district of the city. 

The project will involve the addition of extra floors to one building while another will maintain its listed facade.

Construction is set to begin by the close of 2025. The project is expected to be completed in phases starting in 2027. 

Furthermore, Implenia has been selected to serve as the technical lead in a joint venture with GP Papenburg to construct a new turnkey office building in Brandenburg.  

Additionally, the company has been tasked with the turnkey construction of a school in the Ruhr region.  

It has also been hired to build a six-field sports hall and associated buildings in Frankfurt am Main.  

From the upcoming school year, two grammar schools will utilise these facilities. 

The company has been commissioned by BWL Wohnungsbaugesellschaft and Volksbank Darmstadt to construct the ‘Rheinwiesen living’ project, which includes five residential buildings offering a view of the River Rhine. 

Furthermore, the company has been contracted to build a residential complex in Magdeburg and an exhibition and sales building for the Stark Group in Nuremberg.
