Galliford Try’s Building business has secured a £23m contract to construct a student accommodation facility in Coventry, the UK.
The 436-room accommodation facility will be delivered on Albany Road for developer Cassidy Group.
This project represents the third student accommodation project delivered in Coventry by Galliford Try’s Building East Midlands business.
The latest scheme will see 55 student clusters and 55 self-contained student apartments in buildings ranging up to six storeys.
The project will offer purpose-built, managed accommodation for students at Warwick and Coventry universities.
A community space providing a facility for local residents will form part of the external landscaping.

By GlobalDataThe project’s layout and design reflects the local setting, including the locally-listed The New Albany public house.
Besides helping in with the regeneration of the local area, the project could reduce the impact of students occupying local family housing.
Galliford Try Building East Midlands managing director Jon Marston said: “We have an excellent track record in delivering high-quality student accommodation around the country but particularly in Coventry. We look forward to working with the Cassidy Group to add to this portfolio and create a fantastic new facility for students and local residents alike.”
In December, Galliford Try’s Building business was appointed to new £10.5bn NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) framework.
The Building Business has been chosen in the national lot 4 for projects between £15m-£35m and in 11 regional lots of lot 3, for projects between £5-£15m.
