Galliford Try has secured approval from the Cardiff Council in the UK for its plan to a build-to-rent scheme on part of the Marcol Estate at Guildford Crescent in Cardiff.

The scheme will see the development of 272 new homes in a 30-storey tower, which will offer modern, open plan living with full height windows.

The homes will come in a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments

Besides being a new landmark in the city, the scheme is expected to serve as a catalyst for Cardiff Council’s proposed Canal Quarter regeneration plans, with the firm also offering works to boost the local public realm as part of the development.

The refreshed terrace located on the ground floor will provide space for retail.

This tower will also feature a shared amenity space for residents such as a fitness studio, games room and resident lounge, along with workspace and private dining areas.

The roof top landscaped terrace on the 27th floor will offer panoramic views across Cardiff Bay, the city centre and to the countryside beyond.
