Real estate developer Embrey has acquired a four-acre site in Orlando, Florida, US, for developing phase two of the multifamily residential project.

The project, called Citron at The Packing District, will be situated at the southwest corner of Princeton Avenue and Orange Blossom Trail.

Being developed by Dr. Phillips Charities, Citron at The Packing District is the firm’s second residential development in the mixed-use community.

Embrey executive vice president of development Brad Knolle said: “Embrey was honored to be chosen in 2018 as the first multifamily developer by Dr. Phillips Charities for this iconic community vision.”

“The Cannery at the Packing District, our first development, has been well received by Orlando residents and we are equally excited to be launching Citron as phase two of what we believe will define luxury living experiences for The Packing District.”

Citron at The Packing District will feature 345 units and a clubhouse.

The first units will become available for leasing in mid-2024.

The final completion of the project is anticipated in the spring of 2025.

Its interiors will have spacious floor plans with high ceilings and wood-style flooring, private patios and balconies, equipped kitchens with quartz countertops, bathrooms with dual vanities, garden tubs and separate showers with glass enclosures, and closets.

Among the community amenities to be provided include a clubhouse, a resort-style pool, a courtyard with an outdoor kitchen, a fitness and yoga centre, a business centre with micro-working areas, a dog park, and garage parking.

The latest project is part of The Packing District, which is a 202-acre regeneration project near downtown Orlando being developed by Dr. Phillips Charities.

Under this overall project, historic buildings will be repurposed, and incorporated with new uses, and linked to urban trails and a new 100-acre city park allocated for health and wellness, education, arts and community.
