UK consultant, Brown & Root looks set to scoop the site supervision contract for the 4.5km long, $440M Dublin Port road tunnel. Client, Dublin Corporation was expected to award the contract as T&TI went to press. Contractor JV, Nishimatsu/Mowlem/Irishenco won the construction contract in November last year with a twin-bore TBM drive design. Work is scheduled to start this month.
