Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), which is under the Dubai government’s administration, has appointed Emirati conglomerate Ali & Sons Contracting to manage the second phase of the Uptown Dubai project in the United Arab Emirates.
This follows the completion of the enabling works on the project.
The new phase, connected to the Uptown Tower via a link bridge, will feature two commercial towers offering a combined 62,000m² of Grade A commercial, food and beverage (F&B), and retail spaces.
The project will integrate with the Uptown Plaza, a public space with events scheduled for later in the year.
The forthcoming towers are designed with modern architectural principles and will be constructed to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold standards, ensuring energy efficiency and the use of eco-friendly materials and technologies.
Ali & Sons Contracting is set to employ leading industry standards for health, safety, and well-being throughout the project’s construction, stated DMCC.
