Create has signed the franchise agreement with hospitality group Accor to operate the hotel under the Ibis brand.

The hotel, to be located near the Edinburgh airport and business park, will feature ibis’s new contemporary ‘Plaza’ design concept.

Interior specialists ICA, will work with Accor’s Design & Technical Services team to create the global Plaza design concept.

The hotel will feature a restaurant and a bar, and will provide parking space for up to three coaches and 125 cars.

For the comfort of the guests, the building will offer sound-proofing.

Construction of the hotel will start later this year and will go on for 70 weeks. The hotel will open by early 2023.
