
Three US-based firms Ryan Companies, Grand Living Management and Bow River Capital have formed a new joint venture and begun construction of an apartment building called Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes in Texas.
Located in League City, Texas, Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes will be a luxury senior living community featuring a four-story building that will cover an area of 211,805ft2.
The building will have 148 independent and assisted living units, as well as 38 memory care age-in-community units.
Amenities such as a grand lounge, legends club, library, performance theater, and a space with several dining options are being planned for this site.
It will also have a spa and fitness centre with a full-service salon, pool, courtyard, therapy/tele-health rooms, game rooms and outdoor spaces.
For Ryan Companies, it will be the third Grand Living senior living community in Texas and 11th project overall.

By GlobalDataRyan Companies senior vice-president for senior living development Eric Anderson said: “Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes will be the only age-in-community option in the area, which will allow residents to remain in their home, even as their healthcare needs change.
“Our partnership with Grand Living is focused on creating places for seniors to thrive. This concept is brought to life through our unique model that anticipates the progression of senior living.”
Once completed in Spring 2023, residents of the new community will also have access to Tuscan Lakes’ pedestrian walkways that connects to a community hike-and-bike trail system.
The walkways also offer easy access to retail and healthcare.
Grand Living at Tuscan Lakes project has been designed by the Ryan Architecture + Engineering, while Bank of the West acted as lender for the 186-unit protect.
Upon completion, Grand Living Management will oversee day-to-day operations and Bow River will provide asset management services.
