Currently, about 40% of work has already been completed on the project that includes construction of new kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, lighting fixtures, new appliances, flooring, ductless split HVAC systems, and roof replacements.

Meanwhile, the exterior upgrades at Wellington Woods will include repaved parking lots, complete replacement of exterior patios, decking and railings as well as addition of new siding with added insulation.

Other new facilities at the building will include a community room, laundry facility, a new playground and improved outdoor space.

ODS Management, property management company, will own and manage the two developments.

Governor Cuomo said: “Every New Yorker deserves a home to go to at the end of the day and a safe place to rest their head, and once complete these affordable homes will do just that.

“Wellington North and Wellington Woods are essential components of our affordable housing infrastructure and safety net for families and seniors and will play an integral role as we continue our work to build up our communities and move the Finger Lakes Forward.”
