UK-based real estate developer Opus North and Fiera Real Estate have commenced construction of a premier Grade A office building at 12 King StreetLeeds development in the UK.

The start of construction of the office redevelopment follows the receipt of planning consent in September this year.

Earlier this year, the site was bought on behalf of Fiera Real Estate Opportunity Fund V UK, which is the latest fund in Fiera’s programmatic venture series with CBRE Global Investment Partners.

GMI Construction Group was selected by Opus North to renovate the landmark Leeds City Centre office building.

Designed by DLA Design, the redevelopment project includes a new façade, complete replacement of the fifth and sixth floors, a cycle spa as well as two new floors boasting a communal sky lounge with extensive roof terraces.
