Construction has begun of The Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls, part of a more than $18m mixed-use development project in New York.
This seven-story, 120-room hotel will be located on Rainbow Boulevard, and will also include three new residential guest houses on Buffalo Avenue.

The Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls will be developed by Plati Niagara, which also owns a Wingate by Wyndham in Niagara Falls.

The hotel will feature indoor and outdoor spaces for productive work or relaxation; locally inspired design and décor; contemporary and sophisticated guest rooms; immersive, spa-style bathrooms with bluetooth mirrors; bar and restaurant featuring freshly made food, local craft beers on tap, wine and specialty cocktails; multi-function meeting and event spaces; and fitness centre.
This project will also see addition of three guest houses to complement the historic character of Buffalo Avenue’s Heritage District.
USA Niagara Development Corporation will commit $1.7m to this project, subject to its board of directors approval following completion of the project.
