Chintels India has started construction of commercial project, Chintels Center, in Sector 114, Gurugram in the Indian state of Haryana.

Planned to be built on a plot size of 6.79 acres, Chintels Center is estimated to cost approximately $53.2m (INR4bn) to develop.

The project will comprise approximately 928,000 ft2 of total built up area, which will be divided into approximately anchor (1,15,000ft2), retail (2,20,000ft2), and commercial (2,00,000ft2).

It will feature high street retail, food court, two anchor shops, hyper market, office complex, restaurants, multiplex, and double basement parking.

The project, once the Dwarka Expressway is completed next year, will be five minutes drive from Dwarka Sector 21 Airport line Metro, and from the new India International Convention and Expo Centre in Dwarka Sector 25.

Additionally, it will be 7km from IGI Airport, upon completion of underground access road in Dwarka Sector 21.

Earlier, Chintels India built its first commercial project, Chintels Corporat Park, in Sector 114, Gurugram.

Chintels India managing director Prashant Solomon said: “There are many residential projects, both completed and under-construction along Dwarka Expressway. But there are not enough commercial projects. We intend to cater to this gap.

“We want to develop Sectors 114 and 115 as a landmark commercial, retail and hospitality hub in the coming years. The proximity to Delhi, expo centre and airport distinguishes this area from all other such areas in Delhi NCR and this area will soon attract a lot of footfall.”

Delhi- based Morphogenesis is the project’s principal architect. Chintels Center is planned for completion by 2025.
