Samsung Engineering has won a $700m contract from Jubail United Petrochemical Company, a manufacturing affiliate of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), for setting up an ethylene oxide-ethylene glycol (EO/EG) plant in Saudi Arabia, to produce 700,000 mtpa monoethylene glycol (MEG).
