Real estate solutions provider for the life science and technology industries, BioMed Realty, has received approval from Emeryville city, California, the US to expand its flagship Emeryville Center of Innovation campus.

This expansion project will support the growing Life Science sector of the Bay Area. Expansion plan includes building 910,000 ft2 of new Class A laboratory and office space in the 12-acre campus.

The initial phase of expansion that encompasses 265,000 ft2 is scheduled to begin in 2022.   

Emeryville Center of Innovation campus is in close proximity to the public market, Bay Street’s shopping area, and numerous other luxurious amenities. The campus envelops three acres of green space that is open to the public and integrated with the neighbourhood and the community.
