International infrastructure group Balfour Beatty has wrapped up construction on River Landing Shops and Residences, a $298m mixed-use development along the Miami River.
Spread across 8.1 acres of land, the 2.5 million ft2 project will serve as a premier dining and shopping destination for visitors, residents and professionals.

The mixed-use project includes a seven-storey, 488,000ft2 of retail and commercial space and will occupy national retailers and shops.
It also features a 142,000ft2 Class A office space along with two multi-family residential towers over a 12-storey parking garage with 2,344 spaces.
The project offers boater access along the Miami River, a waterfront linear park, and a 25,500ft² restaurant row that will accommodate up to seven fine dining to fast-casual restaurants.

The facility has been built in a way to provide easy access to Miami via waterway, mass transit and highway systems.
There are five marinas on the river and the visitors, residents and professionals will have easy access to the Downtown Miami/Brickell Financial District.
The project is located near Miami International Airport, Interstate 95 and the Dolphin Expressway.
The team at Balfour Beatty had used the latest technologies and lean construction methods to deliver the new River Landing Shops and Residences.
The project employed more than 750 workers during its peak construction period.
River Landing Shops and Residences was designed by architects BC Architects, McNamara Salvia Structural Engineers, and Steven Feller MEPFP engineers.
It will include national retailers TJ Maxx, Chase, AT&T, Ross Dress for Less, Burlington, Hobby Lobby, Old Navy, Publix Super Markets and Chick-fil-A.
