AtkinsRéalis Group has strengthened its presence in Australia with the acquisition of ADG Capital, an engineering consultancy services company focused on structural and civil engineering, construction services, and digital advisory.
The transaction will add approximately 250 ADG professionals to AtkinsRéalis’ existing workforce.

AtkinsRéalis stated that this move increases its capacity to work on projects related to infrastructure and other key sectors such as defence and power and renewables in Australia, where there are several investment initiatives underway.
ADG CEO Marco Ficca said: “Joining AtkinsRéalis builds on the momentum we’ve created at ADG and takes it further. Our people will have the opportunity to work on larger, diverse and more complex projects whilst growing their expertise across Australia and globally.

The integration of ADG’s local expertise with AtkinsRéalis’ international resources aims to broaden the range of services available to clients of both companies.

ADG’s portfolio includes projects in various locations in Australia such as Howard Smith Wharves in Brisbane, Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, transportation infrastructure with MELConnx in Perth, Hobart International Airport, renewable energy work across New South Wales, and facilities for the defence and health sectors in Darwin.
