Meraas, a component of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a significant construction contract to Al Sahel Contracting Company for the development of Elara, the seventh phase of the Madinat Jumeirah Living master plan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Valued at over Dh300m ($81.6m), this contract signifies a continuation of the partnership following the completion of the first four phases of the project.
Al Sahel is currently finalising the fifth phase of Madinat Jumeirah Living.
Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026, Madinat Jumeirah Living Elara is the latest addition to the master plan’s Urban Edition.
It will feature three residential towers with a total of 234 apartments, including contemporary one- to four-bedroom residences and penthouses.

Residents of Madinat Jumeirah Living Elara will live in a setting surrounded by green promenades and beaches, with access to modern amenities and sports facilities.
The neighbourhood also offers its residents access to shopping centres and public transport links.
The development’s location near Souk Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach affords views of the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and is close to Dubai’s major attractions.
Recently, Arabian Construction Company secured a contract exceeding Dh2bn from Meraas for the construction of the Design Quarter at Dubai Design District.
