Engineering company AFRY has signed an agreement to acquire Reta Engenharia (Reta), a Brazilian company that offers project and construction management services and holds a prominent position in the mining and metals sector.
With over 200 employees, Reta contributes local expertise that will enhance AFRY’s capabilities in key industrial sectors across the Americas.
Reta’s key competencies will bolster AFRY’s current operations, which encompass more than 1,200 employees in Brazil.
This acquisition also strengthens AFRY’s position in supporting the global energy and industrial transition, particularly in the mining and metals sector.
The transaction is contingent upon meeting operational closing conditions and is anticipated to be finalised in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025.
AFRY global division industry head and executive vice-president Nicholas Oksanen said: “This is a strategic step for AFRY as we expand our footprint in the Americas.
