The Southeastern Regional School District, in collaboration with the Massachusetts School Building Authority, has broken ground on a $33m building and renovation project at the Regional Vocational Technical High School in Massachusetts, US.
The project involves the development of a science wing to meet the needs of the school’s chemistry, biology, physics and life sciences courses.
It also includes the construction of medical facilities, extensions to culinary art facilities, the expansion of visual and performing arts facilities, a reconfiguration of the cafeteria, the relocation of the media centre and a brand new gymnasium.
Additionally, the project consists of school-wide facility improvements including roof repairs, window replacements, mechanical systems upgrades, ADA compliance measures and safety enhancements.
