Six Construct, a unit of Egypt’s Orascom Construction Industries (OCI), has secured a contract from Aldar Properties to build Yas Mall on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Scheduled for completion in Q4 2013, Yas Mall will feature 235,000m2 of retail space including a hypermarket, concept stores, fashion outlets, a multiplex cinema, a family entertainment centre and restaurants.

The contract follows the completion of design work and the submission of technical proposals earlier in 2011.
Six Construct is owned by Bexix Group, a 50/50 joint venture between OCI and Belgian construction group Besix.
