Imtech has signed a €33m contract with Capital Park Group to build a green office building called Eurocentrum in Warsaw, Poland.
The 65,000m2, 18-storey office includes three floors of parking to accommodate 112 cars and three large atriums covering a total area of 1,500m2.

The sustainable features of the building include decentralised energy generation, thermal energy storage, optimum ventilation, heat recovery of more than 90%, as well as specific air and climate solutions that provide an optimum distribution of heat and energy.
The building also features energy-efficient building automation, efficient rainwater use, an efficient water distribution system, energy-efficient lighting, movement sensors, a special heating system in the facade and sustainable ICT infrastructure.
The project is expected to receive LEED Gold certification.
