Construction work on the $677m Olive Downs Project located in Gladstone, Queensland, Australia commenced in Q2 2022. It was announced in Q1 2017.

The project involves the development of an open-cut coal mine with a production capacity of 15 million tons per annum of coking coal near Moranbah, Queensland, Australia.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of coal handling and preparation plant
2. Construction of an 18km rail spur line
3. Construction of on-site rail loop
4. Construction of access roads
5. Laying of raw water pipeline connecting to the Eungella pipeline network
6. Laying of transmission lines

Construction on the project is expected to be completed by Q4 2033.

Owners of the project include Australia-based Pembroke Resources Pty.
