Construction work on the $163m Son Dureta University Hospital Redevelopment located in Balearic Islands, Spain commenced in Q2 2022. It was announced in Q1 2016.

The project involves the redevelopment of the Son Dureta University Hospital complex in Palma, Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, Spain.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of Building B with 242 beds with a total gross floor area of 35,000m2 in phase I
2. Construction of Building A with 300 beds with a total gross floor area of 33,000m2 in phase II
3. Construction of a three-story long-stay residential facility with 120 residential places
4. Construction of access roads
5. Construction of a free underground car parking facility with 560 spaces
6. Installation of medical equipment
7. Installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs
8. Installation of elevators
9. Installation of security systems

Construction on the project is expected to be completed by Q3 2025.

Owners of the project include Spain-based Servicio del Salud de Las Islas Baleares (Health Service of Baleares Islands).
