The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.95% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.37% share in December 2021, recording an increase of 1.96% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 49.07% in December 2021, registering a 1.85% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 20.37% share, an increase of 266.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.04%, registering a 30% rise from November 2021.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 12.04%, up 160% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Mexico’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 24.59% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s construction industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
CDM Smith posted 27 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by General Electric with 23 jobs and a 30.3% drop. Honeywell International with 12 IT jobs and Rockwell Automation with 7 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Johnson Controls International recorded an increase of 75% with 7 job postings during December 2021.
Mid Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 46.3%, up by 138.1% from November 2021. Junior Level positions with a 45.37% share, registered an increase of 6.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.33% share, down 50% over November 2021.
