UK construction & real estate industry saw a rise of 15% in overall deal activity during June 2022, when compared with the last 12-month average, led by Power Rider Enterprises’ $33.82m acquisition of Myway Developments, according to GlobalData’s deals database.

A total of 23 deals worth $71.3m were announced in June 2022, compared with the 12-month average of 20 deals.

M&A was the leading category in the month in terms of volume with 16 deals, which accounted for 69.6% of all deals.

In second place was venture financing with four deals, followed by private equity with three transactions, respectively accounting for 17.4% and 13.04% of overall deal activity in the UK technology industry during the month.

In terms of value of deals, M&A was the leading deal category in the UK construction & real estate industry with total deals worth $60.42m, while venture financing and private equity deals totalled $6.3m and $4.6m respectively.
